Mahapuja

The mahapuja is the essence of a yagna – an ancient Vedic offering. This elaborate ritual involves invoking deities and systematically worshipping them through Vedic mantras, chanting and various offerings, including flowers, fruit, rice and incense.

This is a special ceremony in which the metallic image of Shri Nilkanth Varni (Bhagwan Swaminarayan) is bathed with water from the holy rivers of India. The steady trickle of water signifies devotion towards God which should flow continuously and everlastingly.
