Over 450 devotees and visitors visited Espace Noisy le Sec Hall in Paris on Wednesday 29 October 2008 to celebrate the Hindu New Year. The grand Annakut consisted of 523 decorative plates of food and drink lovingly prepared by the devotees.
A special sabha in French and Gujarati had also been organised for the day. The beautiful decorations and entertaining programme contributed to the festival and the interaction between devotees and the local community was visible throughout the day. |
