• Banished to the forest for 14 years, Ram was accompanied by Sita and younger brother Lakshman.
• Sita was abducted by the evil Ravan. Rama rescued Sita with the help of Lakshman and an army led by Hanuman. The entire story is chronicled in the Ramayan.
