G: Shri Sita-Rama

• Shri Ram is another one of Vishnu’s avatars.
• His life teaches truth, justice, valour, compassion, and other virtues of an ideal ruler, citizen, husband, and son.
• Sita, queen and devotee of Ram, exemplifies fidelity, true love, maternal perfection, faith, and other virtues of an ideal wife and devotee.
• Sita was abducted by the evil king Ravan, eventually leading to her heroic rescue by Ram. This is vividly chronicled in the Ramayan epic, along with the story of Ram’s banishment to the forest for 14 years.
