• Shri Harikrishna Maharaj is another name for Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
• This murti (sacred image) is made from five pure metals: gold, silver, copper, iron and lead.
• As this mandir is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, His murtis have been consecrated in various shrines under different names.
  

• Shri Krishna is the incarnation of Vishnu who graced the world about 5,000 years ago.
• He took birth of royal parents but was brought up as a cowherd. Thus, he is frequently seen pictured with cows and gopis (women of the cowherd community).
• Playing the flute, he won both the hearts and souls of humans and the cows for which he cared./font>
• His closest devotee is Shri Radha, who exemplifies unflinching love, total dedication and acceptance of the Divine Will.
